This novel device is very different from anything previously released by Palm. Running on the Linux-based, Palm webOS, the multifunctional touch screen allows you to run several applications simultaneously. The impressive interface makes it easy to find your favourite web pages or applications. Twitter, Facebook and push email are fully integrated. The Palm Pre also has a tethering function, which means it can be used as a mobile broadband dongle. All Palm Pre tariffs on O2 include unlimited data.
The Pre has the full assembly of connectivity, 3G, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS and stereo Bluetooth. As well as a touch screen the Palm Pre has a very good slide out QWERTY keyboard, which is great for messaging and email. An 8GB on board memory allows storage of music and movies. The phone comes complete with a 3 megapixel camera with flash, an FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, infrared, USB port and screen accelerometer.
